Dear JCI Members,

It is with great honor that I cordially invite all of you to attend the 2018 JCI Asia-Pacific Conference which will be held in the picturesque and historic city of Kagoshima, Japan.

The Conference Organizing Committee and the members, alumni, and senators of JCI Kagoshima, have been working hard in the last three years to ensure the success of this year’s conference.

With the emblematic Sakurajima Volcano as the backdrop, Kagoshima is an ideal destination for JCI members to converge and enjoy the unique food and culture of Kyushu Island.

So, I invite all of you to journey to Kagoshima, to give ourselves the opportunity to learn more about JCI, engage with fellow members, update our knowledge through the different skills and development opportunities, renew our friendship to one another and recommit ourselves to the JCI Creed, Mission, and Vision.

I thank you all once again for your support and wish you all a wonderful Conference!

Historically, many of you knows that the city of Kagoshima has given birth to the new and improved country of Japan. It is from Kagoshima that stems the very soul of new Japan we know today. This also coincindes with our President Brian’s theme that change begins with me, change begins with all of us. With the open eagerness to change, the bold spirit to challenge the status quo and the warm big hearts of the people of Kagoshima, i hope delegates can come, experience and learn new ways to to grow and improve our beloved organization to truly becomes the organization that unites all sectors of society to create sustainable impact.

Please do not forget also the many natural wonders in the city of kagoshima. The wonderful volcano of sakurajima, exotic island experiences and the naturally old buildings that characterized te strength and boldness that of the city that forged the hearts of the changemakers of Japan. This and many more to come are some of the reasons you should not missed ONLY the best ASPAC yet. We will also have many great speakers, trainings and our general assemblies where our National leaders gather to discuss change and growth in the area and how we can be one step closer to realizing our founder’s dream to strive everlasting world peace.

Dear JCI members of the Asia Pacific region,

Thank you very much for your great support and cooperation towards 2018 JCI ASPAC Kagoshima.
It is an honor to have the opportunity to take on the great challenge of hosting this ASPAC, which is the largest among JCI’s conferences.

Also, I am extremely pleased to be able to contribute to JCI through this event that will be held in Kagoshima during the 150th anniversary of the Meiji Restoration, which was a critical historical event in Japan. I am very thankful to have the chance to promote peace and sustainable development of the international community as a whole, through the building of international friendships and future-oriented trust amongst all the Jaycees who will gather here from the Asia Pacific region and the world.

We will do our best to make it a memorable Conference for all of you.
I am looking forward to seeing you this May in Kagoshima.
